WHO ARE YOU?

Adam Davis was born in in ‘77.

He grew up in Gilroy, California (known widely as the Garlic Capitol of the World) where there wasn’t a lot to do except create your own fun. This manifested in many different ways: Starting bands and playing in backyards, throwing discarded appliances off the bridge over the dry creek bed, hiding in the bedroom drawing for hours, or pooling change with friends to get enough gas to drive to the nearest large city: San Jose. Living in Gilroy as a teenager may as well have meant living on the moon

Adam moved to the East Bay as a musician in the late nineties, living in a warehouse space in Oakland for $400 a month . He toured nationally and internationally in the ska-punk band Link 80 from 1998 to 2002, playing every basement, co-op, club, squat, church, or elks lodge that would have them. In 2019, he founded Omnigone, a new band that picks up where the old band left off. They have recorded three albums (No Faith in 2019, Against the Rest in 2023, and Feral in 2024)

Adam has worked as an illustrator for since he was a teenager, winning awards for local design contests, designing shirt designs for friend’s bands, making zines and learning along the way. Having only finished his formal schooling in 2024, Adam has relied on learning from mistakes along the way, asking other artists for advice, and figuring out what works for him.

Adam married with two children and a cat named Kiki.
